- THE DEMINED SEA BOTTOM AREA AT DEPTH OF UP TO 35 METERS ------ 2.500
- REMOVED FROM THE SEA BOTTOM ----- 1423 pieces of various explosive ordnances with a total weight of about 65 tons, left over after the Second World War
- The 1.423 pieces of unexploded ordnances that were removed from the sea contained approximately 10 tons of TNT and ammonium nitrate explosives.
- This underwater demining project was funded by the US Government grant through the International Trust Fund for Anti-mine actions - ITF from Slovenia.
THIS SUCCESSFUL UNDERWATER DEMINING OPERATION CONTRIBUTED TO SAFE NAVIGATION IN THE BAY OF KOTOR.
